What is CNC cutting?
CNC cutting is a computer-controlled process that cuts metal to a digital file (like a DXF) or verified drawing. It’s used to produce consistent, repeatable shapes that fit properly in fabrication without the wasted time and variability of manual cutting. In-house CNC plasma plate cutting (fast turnaround)
Our in-house plasma cutter is built for speed and reliability — perfect for most plate cutting jobs where you want accurate profiles and quick delivery. Best for: general fabrication plates structural-style brackets and supports fast-turnaround cut lists one-offs and production batches
Laser cutting (when you need finer detail)
For jobs requiring tighter tolerances, finer features, or a cleaner edge finish, we can source laser cutting through our network. Best for: detailed profiles tighter tolerance components clean edge finish requirements thinner plate and sheet applications (job dependent)
Pipe cutting (round, square and rectangular sections)
If your job involves repetitive, accurate cuts on tube/pipe (including angles and notches), we can arrange pipe cutting through our cutting partners.

3) Cut, check, dispatch
We cut to your spec, tidy up where required, and confirm key details before dispatch so parts arrive ready to fabricate.

What is CNC profile cutting and how does it work?
CNC profile cutting uses a computer-controlled machine to cut metal to a digital design. The machine follows your file (often a DXF) to produce accurate shapes repeatedly and efficiently.
Do you only do plasma cutting?
We offer in-house CNC plasma plate cutting for fast turnaround, and we can also arrange laser cutting and pipe cutting through our trusted network when the job requires it.
What file types can I send?
A DXF is best. We can also work from PDF drawings, and in some cases clear sketches with dimensions (we’ll confirm any missing details before cutting).
What thicknesses can you cut?
Thickness depends on the material and the cutting method (plasma vs laser). Send through your material and thickness and we’ll confirm the best process for edge quality and accuracy.
Is laser cutting more accurate than plasma?
Generally, laser cutting is chosen when you need finer detail, tighter tolerances, or a cleaner edge finish. Plasma is often the best value for fast plate cutting and general fabrication profiles.
Can you cut pipe and tube as well?
Yes — we can arrange pipe/tube cutting through our supplier network, which is ideal for repeat runs and consistent section preparation (angles, notches and fit-up cuts).
Can I order one-off parts, or do you only do batches?
Both. We regularly cut one-off parts as well as production batches — brackets, base plates, gussets, flanges and custom profiles.
