Flap Disc

Grind, blend and finish in one step. A zirconia flap disc takes material off quickly and leaves a much smoother finish than a grinding disc — the go-to for dressing welds and cleaning up cut edges.

• 40 grit — aggressive removal: grinding welds flush, heavy rust and scale (100mm & 125mm)
• 60 grit — general-purpose blending and weld dressing (100mm & 125mm)
• 80 grit — finer finish before paint or cold gal (125mm only)

Specs:

• Zirconia abrasive
• 125mm: 22mm bore, max 12,250rpm
• 100mm: 16mm bore

Common applications:

• Dressing welds on gates, frames and trailers
• Deburring cut ends
• Stripping rust, mill scale and old paint
• Prep before painting

Tip: Hold it at a shallow angle and keep it moving. The flaps wear evenly and you won't dig in.
