Hot dip galvanised all-thread in M12 and M16, in 1m and 3m lengths. Cut it to length and make up exactly the fixing the job needs. Also known as all thread, allthread, studding or threaded bar.

  • M12 — 1000mm or 3000mm
  • M16 — 1000mm or 3000mm

Features:

  • Property class 4.6 — general-purpose, low-carbon grade
  • Hot dip galvanised for outdoor and damp conditions
  • Threaded full length — cut anywhere

Common applications:

  • Hanging pipework, ducting, cable tray and services
  • Tie rods and bracing
  • Custom-length bolts and clamping jigs

Not suited to structural connections where high-strength (class 8.8) bolts are specified.

Tips:

  • Wind a nut on past your cut line before cutting — winding it back off cleans up the thread.
  • Hit the cut end with Chemtools Cold Gal to restore corrosion protection.
  • Use galvanised nuts. Standard nuts often won't run on hot dip gal thread because of the extra zinc.
