Cutting & Grinding Discs

Thin cut-off discs and 6mm grinding discs for angle grinders, in 100mm and 125mm. The discs you always seem to run out of — worth keeping a few spare.

• 1.0mm Ultra-Thin Cut-Off — fast, clean cuts with minimal burr and less material lost. For tube, angle, flat bar, sheet and threaded rod.
• 6mm Metal Grinding Disc — heavy stock removal: bevelling edges for welding, grinding back welds, taking off burrs and scale.

Specs:

• 125mm: 22mm bore, max 12,250rpm
• 100mm: 16mm bore

Common applications:

• Cutting steel tube, angle, flat bar, sheet and threaded rod to length
• Bevelling plate edges before welding
• Grinding back welds and removing burrs and mill scale

Safety:

• Cut-off discs are made for edge loads only. Never side-grind with one — it can shatter.
• Always check the disc's max RPM is at or above your grinder's rated speed.
• Keep the guard on.

For a smoother finish after grinding, follow up with a Flap Disc.
